At FIN & LAW, responsibility is not an annex to our practice - it is part of how we practise. As advocates, we hold a privileged position in Tanzania’s justice system, and we believe that position carries duties beyond our client engagements: to widen access to justice, to invest in the next generation of lawyers, and to serve the communities in which we live and work.
Our commitment takes practical forms. We dedicate advocate hours each year to pro bono representation for individuals and community organisations that could not otherwise afford counsel. We mentor law students and young graduates through internships and structured training. And we support education and community initiatives in Dar es Salaam and beyond - because a firm is only as strong as the society around it.
Legal Aid Day
Each year, FIN & LAW participates in the Law Day commemorations held during the first week of February. During this observance, our lawyers volunteer their services on a pro bono basis to deliver legal assistance to the community - bringing free legal advice to people who need it most across Dar es Salaam.
