On April, 2020 FIN & LAW was involved in a Television interview with CGTN on the impact of COVID-19 on Employment and labour laws in Tanzania. Among others, the interview highlighted the existing legal framework on Employment law and how Employers may be able to address the impact of the pandemic in their business.
It is relevant to note that, In Tanzania there is no specific Employment law that address cases of Pandemic. Hence, Employers are encouraged to seek suitable professional advise and guidance in handling their employment and labour relations to avoid any possible business decision that is likely to affect employment.
